These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through atomcarparts.co.uk.

Additional product-specific conditions may apply to certain specialist products, exchange products or commercial warranty claims.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

Atom Car Parts supplies new and professionally remanufactured automotive components.

The condition of each product will be stated on the relevant product page.

A product described as remanufactured is not a new product.

Where vehicle manufacturer names, trademarks, OE numbers or reference numbers are used, they may be used to identify compatibility, application or the component being replaced.

Their use does not necessarily mean that Atom Car Parts is affiliated with, endorsed by or an authorised distributor of the relevant vehicle manufacturer.

Modern vehicles may use different versions of the same component depending on engine, production date, specification and original equipment.

Customers should therefore confirm compatibility before installation.

Where available, the original component number, OE/reference number or VIN should be used to confirm the correct application.

If you ask us to assist with compatibility, our advice will be based on the vehicle and component information you provide and the technical information reasonably available to us.

Please ensure that the information supplied to us is accurate.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and compatibility information are accurate.

Images may be illustrative and remanufactured products may show cosmetic or external variations. If an exact physical feature is important to compatibility, please contact us before purchasing.

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

VAT is included where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.

For products supplied on an exchange basis, a refundable exchange deposit may apply.

Where a refundable deposit is selected, the applicable amount will be shown and added to the product price before the item is added to the basket.

The refundable exchange deposit is separate from the product purchase price.

Submitting an order through the website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product.

Orders are subject to acceptance, payment authorisation and product availability.

We may cancel and refund an order where the product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, payment cannot be authorised, delivery cannot reasonably be provided, or the product cannot reasonably be supplied.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the applicable payment will be refunded.

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before dispatch unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed.

Delivery options, estimated delivery times, geographical restrictions and applicable charges are explained in our Delivery Information.

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

We recommend receiving and checking the product before booking installation work.

Selected remanufactured products are supplied on an exchange basis.

Depending on the product, customers may have the option to receive the replacement first by paying a refundable deposit, return the old unit before dispatch, or arrange an exchange at our Milton Keynes store where available.

Unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing, the old exchange unit must be returned within 30 days.

Different conditions apply depending on whether you have changed your mind, ordered an incorrect product, we have supplied an incorrect product, or a product is reported as faulty.

Eligible products are supplied with a 24-month commercial warranty subject to our Warranty Terms and any product-specific warranty information supplied with the product.

The commercial warranty is additional to and does not affect statutory consumer rights.

Automotive components should be installed in accordance with applicable vehicle and component manufacturer procedures.

Before installing a replacement component, any existing vehicle fault that caused or contributed to the failure of the previous component should be identified and corrected.

A fault code or symptom does not necessarily establish that the supplied component itself is defective.

Where a technical issue is reported, reasonable diagnostic information may be required before the cause can be determined.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Our commercial warranty does not include reimbursement of third-party labour, removal or refitting costs, vehicle hire, recovery charges, loss of use or other associated costs. This does not affect any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or applicable requirements.

The Terms applicable to an order will normally be those published at the time the order is placed.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or attempts to replace any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
